All set for Miss Tanzania beauty pageant tonight

MISS Tanzania 2007 will be unveiled tonight at the Leaders Club, Kinondoni in Dar es Salaam. The lucky winner among 26 contestants will smile back home in a brand new Toyota RAV 4 worth 45m/- from the event main sponsors Vodacom Tanzania. The beauty queen will also go home with a ticket to the coveted Miss World beauty pageant set for Sanya, China in December this year. The Director of Lino International Agency, Hashim Lundenga, whose firm coordinates the event, said yesterday that preparations for the event are complete. The show will be coloured by Felix Wazekwa, the award winning Congolese artiste along with his group of dancers. The event brings together 26 finalists drawn from across the country. Revellers for the much anticipated glamorous show have to dig deep into their pockets to pay 75,000/- for the 2500 VIP seats, while standard tickets are sold at 35,000/- each. The girls lined up for the show are Seprice Joseph, Lilian Abel, Annastazia Ganja, Monica John, Elizabeth Mahona, Richa Adhia, Neema Chande, Eva Mbando, Cecilia Charles, Queen David and Immaculate Ngereza.
